Notts Korfball is one of the Premier UK Clubs, fielding 4 sides from Premiership to the East Midlands League and a large junior section!
NKC was founded in August 1993 by a group of friends from Nottingham University. During their first season they trained at Nottingham Universitys Sutton Bonington Campus, under the guidance of Stella Hooker. Nottingham drew their first National League match in November to Kingfishers 2. The team on that famous day was :

Girls : Emma Sherratt, Jackie Hoare, Anna Tester, Sarah Couzens, Kathy Shaw & Lorraine Grandison.
The club has gone from strength to strength and now have 4 senior teams, 2 teams that compete in the National League and two that compete in the Central England Korfball league that was started by Nottingham to enable us to qualify for the National League.
Nottingham is a growing club and is developing korfball in the region.
