Oakworth Pre-school (previously known as Oakworth Playgroup) is an Ofsted-registered early years setting for 2-4 year olds based in the convenient village-centre location of Oakworth Methodist Church. Open to all from Oakworth, Haworth and surrounding areas, it is easily accessible with excellent local bus links and a small car park for parents. Established for over 30 years, the pre-school has charity status and is run by experienced, enthusiastic, local childcare professionals with specialist provision for those with special educational needs or disabilities.
We have close links with the Ofsted Outstanding Oakworth Primary School, which is just over the road. Many children who attend our pre-school go on to the primary school having already formed close bonds with some of their classmates.
At just £11 per child, the flexible sessions, which run on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 9am-12pm during term time, offer excellent value for money with parents paying per half term to secure their child's place for one, some or all days each week, and nothing to pay during the school holidays. Fully funded places are available for 3 and 4 year olds starting the term after their third birthday and we hope to able to offer fully funded places for 2 year olds soon.
