Out of School Club Running at Centre 81 Garelochhead

Centre 81 will provide a before and after school club for children aged 4 years to 13 years offering a drop-off and pick-up from the local primary school. The club will offer homework support, mentoring and social development within a safe and friendly environment. The project will also aim to promote interaction and integration amongst children and young people from armed forces and civilian backgrounds thereby promoting links between families: nursery and childcare environments can provide social opportunities for parents and promote equality of opportunity: every child and their family is given the same opportunity. The service will run 5 days a week over the holidays and 4 days a week for after school care. There is a large number of activities which take place within the club including arts & crafts, outdoor play, nature trails, beach walks, reading corner, role play, games, indoor climbing,
orienteering, sports and many more.
