Oxford RL is a new professional team entering RL Championship 1 in the 2013 season. The club has been launched with the vision of bringing the spirit of rugby league to Oxfordshire and the surrounding areas - inspiring local communities, schools, universities and businesses to engage with the Rugby League family.
Home games will be played at the historic Iffley Road stadium, next to the track where Sir Roger Bannister broke the 4 minute mile. Oxford RL will bring something different to the city, a team committed to doing the city proud, a club intent on developing new local players and a place for all to see the raw, physical strength and talent the mighty game of Rugby League has to offer.
