Oxfordshire's National Citizen service programme for 2014.
This Summer Oxfordshire Youth is offering young people across Oxfordshire the opportunity to experience a programme packed with exciting opportunities. NCS will include trips, days out, chances to learn new skills, support your loacl community and make new friends.
National Citizen Service programme, a government initiative.
NCS aims to promote a more cohesive, responsible and engaged society by bringing young people from different backgrounds together to make a difference in their communities. It is a voluntary programme for 16- 17year-olds which focuses on their personal and social development which includes challenging activities, from away-from-home residential experiences to a self-designed social action project.
NCS is open to all those in year 11 and 12 or age equivalent.
Normally a programme like this would cost you £1000, nationally there is a charge of £50 to take part.
