Pegasus is a recreational and competitive gymnastics club based at Waterstone Crook in Newport-on-Tay and the Dick McTaggart Gymnastics Centre in Dundee.
Pegasus Gymnastics Club is divided into two distinct sections. The first being for recreational gymnastics which covers all aspects of the sport including floor, beam, vault and bars. Recreational gymnasts will be expected to take part in our club displays, internal competitions and work towards gaining their Scottish Gymnastics Awards.
The second section of the club is our Performance Training Squad. Gymnasts are selected by our coaches to train in this section. Gymnasts in the squad are expected to attend at least 3 training sessions a week, however we are looking into extending this to accommodate the training required for Scottish Grading Awards. Gymnasts in the squad are expected to enter several competitions throughout the year and continually work on their strength and conditioning by completing home programmes provided by the club.
