We rescue and rehabilitate sick, injured and orphaned hedgehogs, returning them to the wild in most cases. We are non-profit making and all funds are used on the hedgehogs

Hedgehogs are sick if they are out in the day in the normal way. If you find a sick hedgehog or one you are worried about for any reason, first, pick it up and put it in a high sided box, cover it with scrunched up newspaper and take it indoors. Keep it warm. You can feed it meaty dog or cat food and WATER. A lot of people want to give milk but that can upset their tummies and make their condition much worse. Ring a rescue centre for help as soon as possible as hedgeogs will crash very quickly.
