Welcome to the official Facebook page of Pencoed Miners Welfare and Community Hall. Here you will find details of our facilities, future and past events.
The Pencoed Miner's Welfare Hall was built in the 1960's funded by CISWO.
CISWO is a National Charity which has a focus on the key role of delivering community and personal welfare services within mining and former mining communities.
The Hall is run by a group of Trustees for the benefit of the community of Pencoed and District and as the Pencoed Welfare Institute is a registered charity.
Several years ago the hall was refurbished to a high standard and has two main areas / rooms for hire with the third room being the current home of the Pencoed Town Council.
There are several Users with regular / long term bookings and the Coffee Lounge and Main Hall may be hired when these are not in use.
