Playtime Nursery Wandsworth is a childcare setting from 3month - 5 years open 7 days a week, 7am - 7pm.

At Playtime we understand that choosing the right childcare is important. At Wandsworth Playtime Nursery, that's why we make sure that our nursery is run to the highest standards.

Our Nursery will be run by a team of highly qualified practitioners, who have a wealth of experience in all aspects of childcare. We understand the need for high standards of care and we make sure that your child is happy, secure, safe and well cared for.

Our Wandsworth Nursery is registered with Ofsted to cater for children aged 3 months to 5 years. The nursery will be fully equipped to offer a stimulating, warm and comfortable environment that allows your child to develop a positive image of themselves and of others.

The children will have the opportunity to learn and develop within an environment that encourages children to explore in open planned rooms and have access to great learning tools. This will inspire and enable them to implement their ideas, encouraging curiosity and risk taking along with regular visits to the playtime dining area, where they will learn to cook and prepare an array of foods under the guidance of our chef, along with a social area to eat.

Our new day nursery in Wandsworth has a beautiful and welcoming enviroment. We firmly believe that active learning, critical thinking and creative play is essential to a child's development. Each area of play will consist of a rich text environment with resources that allow children to make decisions and all equipment will be assessable to their size.

Playtime also provides additional private curricular classes to include French and Spanish, mini yoga and cookery.

We Pride ourselves in having a large vegetable garden where the children grow an array of herbs, vegetables and flowers according to the season which further enhances their learning with nature, food, measure and size along the way giving children the opportunity to explore using their sensory perception. allowing the children to grown and learn about the different vegetable and plants they are eating.

Our fully equipped open plan kitchen allows chidlren to sit and experience our unique dining room. The children will socialise in our fun dining area, smell the wonderful aromas from our chef and watch him prepare food and cook. Our fully trained chef provides a high quality service that meets and exceeds the environmental Health Standards. We are proud to source our fresh fruit, vegetables and meat from local suppliers. Our chef is also equipped to ensure any special food requirments for your child are varied, healthy and flavoursome.

There will be daily opportunities for children to cook with our chef in our wonderful playtime dining room. This will include making bread and cakes, chopping vegetables and making smoothies under adult supervision.

The Nursery provides breakfast, a two-course lunch and a cooked tea along with a variety of planned snacks consisting of fruit, cream cheese with crackers and biscuits, along with mid-morning and afternoon snacks. Babies are provided with the appropriate milk and liquidised food. Furthermore we provide nappies for children of all age groups at no extra cost.
