Poet’s Cottage (Tan-Yr-Yw) is a delightful split-level 17th Century cottage of much character in the heart of Trefriw in the Snowdonia National Park.
Poet’s Cottage can easily accommodate 7 people in its 3 bedrooms (more if you make use of the spacious lounge!) and is fully furnished.
On the ground floor you will find a spacious yet cosy living room featuring a 3 and a 2 seater sofa, armchairs and an inglenook fireplace with log burning stove.
When the beauty of the surrounding countryside becomes too much, you can settle down and enjoy the 42″ plasma TV with Sky, a DVD player and a VCR player. If you need to keep in touch with the outside digital world, Poet’s Cottage has FREE wi-fi throughout.
The minstrel gallery effectively makes the ground floor open plan, allowing light to flood from the front to the back of the cottage.
The kitchen and dining area is open plan. The dining table can easily seat 6 adults. The kitchen is fully equipped and includes a gas hob, electric oven, fridge, freezer, microwave oven, washing machine,dishwasher, toaster and kettle. All crockery and cutlery is also provided.
The gated garden/patio area is a delightful sun-trap and can play host to BBQs during long hot summer’s evenings.
Upstairs there are 2 double bedrooms and 1 triple bedroom and a family bathroom.
The bathroom has a bath, shower, sink, vanity unit, toilet, airing cupboard and built-in stereo radio.
