Pontefract Dog Boarding is a business which we set up in 2012, after being pet carers for a
national company and also for family and friends. We currently have no resident
dogs in the home, but have many years' experience caring for dogs, especially large
breeds.

Our aim is to give your dog/s a loving home-from-home experience whilst you are
away. We do not use kennels of any shape or form and your dog/s will be treated as you
would treat them in your home.

We follow your normal daily routines such as feeding, walking, treats, fun time, etc., so
your dog/s settles in quickly and does not get stressed by being away from the
family home.

There will only be your dog/s boarding in any given time slot booked. .
We will not exercise your dog/s off leash, but we have lots of ways to drain
their energy and focus their minds!

For the boarding dates, we ask that you supply bedding, food , toys, treats, feeding bowls, leads, poop bags, brushes - in fact, all the things your dog/s has at home.

Initially, we would ask you come for a preliminary visit with the dog/s you are looking to
board. This would enable us to assess the dogs personality and find out more about its day-to-day care. We could take this opportunity, also, to go on a short walk to assess in ‘real-life’. We ask that you please bring your dog's vaccination records to this preliminary visit, as these need to be up to date. However, "Kennel Cough" vaccinations are not required.

If, after this "meet and greet", we are both happy, we would then ask you to fill in the
booking form. This should be returned within 7 days, together with a 25% (non refundable) booking fee which will secure your dates. The balance is payable, in cash, on the drop
off day.
The cost per day is:-

1 Dog = £15 per day
2 Dogs = £25 per day
3 Dogs = £35 per day

Any block bookings of more than 14 days receive a 10% discount.
