Our secure workshops are based in Surrey and from here our friendly team will be pleased to advise and assist you on the best plan of action for any vehicle projects that you have in mind.
As with any classic car restorations program it is advisable to conduct an initial assessment and realistically discuss the extent of panelcraft required. Following that it is usual for clients to commission us to proceed.

When creative ideas become reality most owners are keen to call in to view and discuss work in progress. We also provide a photographic record on disc to add to your vehicles history portfolio, an essential component of any classic car restorations.

History of Prestige Restoration:

Shane's panel and coachwork skills began with an apprenticeship in the early 1970s with Rolls Royce, followed by body construction experience with Autokraft, the Weybridge company that became AC Cars.
Sue, who originally qualified in mechanical engineering, subsequently specialised in paintwork refinishing. Together they have achieved many concours winning restorations.

In 1984 Prestige was formed with an underlying mission to be "the best in the business". The last 20 years have seen that goal continually pursued and a substantial reputation built. The current premises are in a secure unit, conveniently situated minutes from Junction 11 of the M25.

Workshop:

We have a comprehensive range of facilities available to ensure total satisfaction for any bodywork repair or fabrication specified.
To quote Shane " If it was originally made from metal, we can replicate it here". This applies equally to aluminium, perspex, fibreglass and other modern hi-tech composite materials.
All the panels, from wings, door skins, bonnets and boots through to complete bodyshells are fabricated onsite with no outside involvement other than the supply of high quality sheet steel. In addition to body panel work, Prestige is also able to offer chassis section to design and fabrication of one off specials.
The majority of work that Prestige undertakes is primarily workshop based and on clients own vehicles. There is also, occasionally, a demand for the supply of components for independent and/or overseas restoration projects with orders being supplied worldwide.
