Pretty Visitors was founded in June 2011 by Georgina Getliffe and Amelia Palfreyman. Two twenty year olds who met whilst studying at Oakham School in Rutland. Despite both going their seperate ways, with Georgina going on to study Visual Merchandising at the Fashion Retail Academy in London, and Amelia going on to study Fashion and Textiles management at Nottingham Trent University, they remained close friends and shared an aspiration of establishing their own business in Fashion Retail using the skills that they had both aquired since leaving school.
They wanted to create a shop that was perfect for their contemporaries and friends. A place where they could find all of the key pieces they wanted in one location, but couldn't find on the high street. Somewhere ideal for students and individuals living off a budget. For people that don't want to wear the same outfit for two nights out in a row, but don't want to spend a fortune buying something new everytime they go out.
