PulseGuard is a heart monitoring system to alert users/carers of early signs of epileptic seizures and other heart conditions.

Winner of the NT100 2015 Award from Nominet, PulseGuard is a heart monitoring technology created by Adris technologies Ltd, a family owned company dedicated to developing new assisted technologies.

The PulseGuard heart monitoring system detects early signs of seizures and alerts the user or carer if a problem should arise. Research shows that in 95% of seizures in epilepsy, a change in heart-rate is the first detectable symptom. We aim to give users and carers the best possible chance to administer care and aid in the event of a seizure. PulseGuard is also the only system available that can give warning to the onset of SUDEP.

Using a simple, unobtrusive wrist strap, wirlessly connected via Bluetooth to an iPad,
PulseGuard is designed for any home user. The operation is incredibly simple, without complication giving you piece of mind that should your loved ones need your help, you can be at their side in moments.

Although designed with epilepsy in mind, it can also detect issues with other heart conditions, including diabetes, cardiac arrest and suffocation.
