RAF Happisburgh

RAF Happisburgh was a Coast Defence Radar station operational during and after the Second World War.

RAF Happisburgh was part of the "Chain Home Low" chain of Radar Installations located around the coast.

There were once 2 installations here at Happisburgh, the first one being built as part of an emergency chain following the outbreak of the Second World War.
However, a second more modern installation was later built nearby.

Remains of this second installation are still visible today.
