Biography
Louise is a specialist musculoskeletal, sports and performing arts physiotherapist. She graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy from Keele University in 2004 and furthered her professional development by completing an MSc in Performing Arts Medicine at University College London where she was awarded a distinction in 2015.
At Rejuven8 Physiotherapy Louise treats a varied musculoskeletal caseload that includes athletes and performing artists of all ages and levels (cyclists, dancers, golfers, gymnasts, ice skaters, musicians, rugby players, swimmers, vocalists and more….). Additionally she undertakes a weekly clinic for British Association of Performing Arts Medicine in London and for over 10 years has provided physiotherapy support for British Gymnastics at both national and international events including European and World Championships and the World Games.
Recently Louise was delighted to have been invited to present her MSc research at the annual British Association of Performing Arts Medicine Conference in London and to provide a core control training seminar to both national and international level coaches at the annual British Rhythmic Gymnastics Symposium held at Lilleshall National Sports Centre.
Louise’s extensive experience and postgraduate studies have provided her with a wealth of knowledge in screening, movement analysis and advanced injury rehabilitation. This experience ideally places Louise to offer effective assistance with queries regarding optimal recovery from injury and surgery, performance enhancement and minimizing future injury risk.
