Rosscos is a well-established hairdressing salon in Snodland, serving the surrounding areas of Halling, Larkfield, Leybourne, Cuxton, Strood, West Malling, Ditton, East Malling, Ryarsh and Holborough. The business dates back to 1979, when Rosscos originally opened as a barbershop and due to high demand, it added hairdressing services. Jayne, its present owner and with over 27 years of hairdressing experience, has run the salon for the last ten years and the team has expanded to 7 hairdressers and 5 barbers. There are 11 chairs, 4 of which are barber chairs. We have an enviable reputation locally and our salon has a stylish and contemporary décor and provides free Wi-Fi for our clients. Our highly skilled staff deliver identical services and products as many of the top London hair salons, but with a much fairer and competitive price structure.

Our company understands and promotes the importance of excellent customer service and it is fundamental to our core values. We treat all clients with honesty, respect and fairness, in order to meet and exceed their expectations. Our salon is friendly and welcoming, which makes your visit a more enjoyable and relaxing experience. We appreciate that everyone leads busy lifestyles and offer 2 late nights, open until 8pm and an 8am early start on Saturdays, to give you maximum flexibility and convenience for your appointment. We also provide to free Wi-Fi.

Rosscos invest in our own staff and as a result have an NVQ training structure; our apprentices attend a private academy once a week and have in-house training on Mondays and Fridays. Successful candidates are awarded a Level 2 NVQ in Hairdressing. All our staff continuously re-new their skills and knowledge in current hair care trends, products and techniques. The training and investment in staff ensures their loyalty and longevity, some having been with the salon since 2002. This provides our clients with consistency and continuity of hair care and fits well with Jayne’s strong belief and ethos of the salon, to support and give back to the local village of Snodland and the local community.

Appointments are available for children after school. Our experienced staff can reassure and persuade even the most reluctant child to sit still for a cut. Our retired clients tend to visit the salon from Monday to Thursdays and Fridays is always popular for ladies to have their hair blow dried for the weekend. Late nights are when ‘Dads and lads’ like to have their haircut but we are very flexible and offer appointments that fit with your lifestyle.

We use a variety of hair products and always ensure they suit each individual client. They include Bed Head, Goldwell and special promotional products. We also have seasonal promotions and gift vouchers, which are always well received and appreciated.

The combination of a warm welcome, highly skilled staff, refreshments and our consistently high standards of skill adds to our excellent reputation in Snodland and the surrounding areas and much of our business comes through personal recommendation. The staff at Rosscos willingly support regular charity fund raising events and raise money for good causes, both for the local community of Snodland and national charities.
