Rugrats Rugby is a non-contact rugby play programme for boys and girls aged between 2-7 years, terms to start January 2013 for the Wigan & Leigh area.
Rugrats Rugby is the brain child of co-founders Martyn Gill & Tim Rumford who are experienced coaches within the performance pathway having coached at a professional level with responsibilities for developing the young talent of a Super League club.
The programme has been specifically designed to develop your child's basic core motor skills using the structure of learning, development and care of the Early Years foundation stage (EYFS) to help develop your child with a particular focus on their physical, psychological and social attributes.
It is a fantastic way to get young children interested in exercise, develop their fundamental movement skills experience rugby skills such as running with ball, finding space, catching, kicking, scoring a try as well as working within a team and taking turns whilst having FUN!!!
