The Barn at RyePark House is set next to the owners farmhouse in an 11 acre smallholding which overlooks an ancient wooded valley and river. The Barn is completely self contained but you have the reassurance of the owners next door should you need anything. It is peaceful and yet just a mile from the local village of Bratton Fleming with its well stocked shop and post office. Beautiful walks are literally from your doorstep and in just 2 miles you are in Exmoor National Park. A short drive will take you to the amazing beaches of the Golden Coast, Woolacombe, Saunton and Croyde for sand and surf or explore the old main town of Barnstaple with its Pannier Market, Butchers Row and range of leisure facilities. Golfers can enjoy Championship courses at Saunton. Visit the historic towns of Lynton and Lynmouth and ride on the famous cliff railway or the dramatic coastline of North Devon with the Valley of the Rocks and Heddon's Mouth. There are too many things to list but be assured there is something for everyone. For those who prefer just relaxing stay at the barn and enjoy the beautiful surroundings with a walk along the river bank or through the wood. Watch the lambs and sheep, and chickens (don't worry no cockerel!) and at the end of the day unwind in your own private Jacuzzi and if it's a clear night look up at the amazing stars, listen to the owls and just relax.
The Barn has one bedroom with a king-size bed with luxury 100% cotton linen, there is an en-suite wet room with rain-shower and towels and robes are provided. The kitchen is fully fitted with everything you may need and for those of you who like to cook there is even a proving oven - very Bake Off!.The Lounge is spacious and light, yet when the weather outside is a little chilly the Barn is beautifully warm and cosy with its two sofas and lovely fire. Wi-fi is provided throughout the property. Go on treat yourself to some time away.
