Sammylou was born in 2009, My creative side started way back when I was very little where I would hound my mum to make various things with me. As I grew I made those 'things' all by myself (get me!) Leaving school I studied graphic design, however my career eventually found a path to something totally different! I studied and became a nursery nurse.

Working with so many females and families you can imagine there was always someone having a baby, getting married or some other celebration. So being the creative bunny that I was I made my very first nappy cake and to cut a long story short that is basically how Sammylou was born.

Here at Sammylou we believe in good old fashioned customer service and nothing is too much trouble. If there is something you don't see then talk to us, we don't bite (honest!) and we will do our very best to help you. Oh and one more important thing, all our items are made with lots of love x.

I now have my very own shop stocking my very own designs together with lots of other gorgeous goodies along with a range of items made right here in Somerset by talented people.

Orders take approx 2-3 weeks and at busy times approx 4 weeks, should you need your order for a certain date or earlier than the 2 weeks please let us know as we can usually help. Payment is done via invoice by paypal, you can check out as a guest so don't need a paypal account to use this. Should you wish to cancel an order or return an item, the following is excluded, Personalised items that are specially made, or ordered, with your choice of name, letter, message or other customised aspect that makes the item unique to your requirements and therefore cannot be resold.
