I have been reformulating the approach to H&S with a focus on wellbeing first, followed by health and finally safety for over a decade.
Wellbeing covers everything; the person’s mental health, what’s going on in their personal lives and their work lives: the entirety of the individual.
Wellbeing affects health. Healthier people are safer. Safer people = safer organisations
We need a paradigm shift in how we think about H&S. I have devised a pioneering formula which improves organisational / institutional awareness & attitudes.
I ensure that everyone emotionally engages with wellbeing, health and safety. This results in culture change and benefits the ‘triple bottom line’, or people, planet and profit.
