I've always enjoyed walking along the beautiful beaches in the North East and for many years I've collected seaglass.
In January of 2015 I was diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer, I required radical surgery and chemotherapy. In September 2015 as part of my rehabilitation I decided to create personalised gifts for my family & friends using the seaglass. I found it very calming, therapeutic and highly enjoyable. Encouraged and inspired by the compliments received I've decided to set up a business making and selling the pictures.
The pictures cost £25 each, 20% of all sales to be donated to the chemo ward at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Gateshead and the Maggies Centre at the Freeman in Newcastle. If you're interested please personal message me for further details, thank you, Joanne at Seaham Shore X
