We are situated in Boat of Garten a small Highland village at the heart of the Cairngorms National Park in Scotland. The Shack is located at the bottom of our garden with parking right next to it. It is suitable for those wanting an affordable stay with basic but cosy accommodation. Perhaps those with an interest in fishing, bird watching, skiing or walking. Suitable for single person or couple although cot can be provided. Dogs are welcome.
The shack houses a triple sleeper bedroom with single wardrobe; a small bathroom with electric shower; a kitchen/dining area with electric cooker, fridge, microwave and washing machine; a small lounge with two and three seater settees and television. There is access to wi-fi.
Our house, The Shieling, with its shack is sited right next door to the local shop, opposite a fantastic local restaurant, Andersons and close to the Strathspey Steam Railway. Good bus links to other villages. Aviemore is 5 miles away.
