Sherburn Aero Club, based at Sherburn in Elmet Airfield is Yorkshires premier flying club and flying school.

Sherburn Aero Club opened its doors in 1964 and went on to become one of the largest flying clubs in the North of England and also one of largest in the country.

Based at Sherburn in Elmet Airfield in North Yorkshire we offer a full range of pilot training, trial flying lessons and flying gift vouchers as well as being a flying club for our members.

We are open to the public and have a restaurant and bar, with an outdoor area, ideal for a family day out. We welcome all to visit and enjoy the facilities we have to offer and watching the world of aviation up close.

There an many exciting events throughout the year making us the perfect destination for members of the public, visiting pilots and our members.
