Reiki is a Japanese word meaning Universal Life Force Energy.
Reiki is an Ancient Healing Art. It is a complete healing system re-discovered in the mid 1800's by a Japanese theologist by the name of Dr Mikao Usui, who, it is said, taught in a small Christian University in Kyoto Japan.
Reiki can help with any condition. It comforts and harmonises the body and mind giving deep relaxation and a sense of inner peace.
The technique is practised by the laying on of hands, which not only treats the physical body, but emotional, mental and spiritual levels also.
The practitioner acts as a channel for the healing energy. The Reiki energy is chanelled through the practioner to the recipient.
All the client needs to do is book their session and turn up. No creed or belief is required by either practioner or recipient.
The client simply lies down on the Healing Couch, enjoys the Reiki whilst listening to gentle music.
