We collect and receive donated furniture, electrical and household items, in good condition. We then re cycle these items for use in the community.

We are Shrewsbury Furniture Scheme,which is a registered charity (No.1047760) We trade as Home Essentials & serve the Shrewsbury and surrounding area.

SFS exists to help families and individuals on low incomes to access furniture, floor coverings, soft furnishings, electrical appliances, and other home essentials. To take advantage of this service individuals need to be referred to SFS in order to become members. Self referral is available by coming along to the warehouse along with proof of benefits.

We are able to collect and deliver free of charge within the Shrewsbury & Atcham Borough area. All electrical items are checked and tested for safety before being allocated and delivered. The scheme charges a low price for all it's items to help with running costs. We always welcome good quality donations and volunteers. Contact the warehouse for more information.

Goods not sold in the warehouse, usually because of their size, are offered for sale to the public in our shop on Castle Street, Shrewsbury. We can deliver from the shop to your home for a small charge.
