In early 2016, the Brightlingsea butchers shop was acquired by Aiden Smith (Smiths of Essex Ltd). The shop was formerly known as Stobbs Butchers.
In early 2016, Stobbs Butchers in Brightlingsea was acquired by Smiths of Essex Ltd. The shop is now run under the new ownership of Aiden Smith and trading name of Smiths Butchers.
We are committed to providing high quality and locally sourced meats. In keeping with our high standards we make our own sausages, cure our own bacon and hand press our own burgers all here at the shop.
Also, we have a large deli counter which includes home-cooked and ready to eat pies, scotch eggs and sausage rolls as well as a selection of cheeses!
