A Reformed, Presbyterian, and Evangelical Church for Solihull
We started this pioneering work from nothing in October 2005 because we recognised that Solihull has a desperate need for the gospel of Jesus Christ.
What kind of church is SPC? Here is what we care about:
• The gospel. It is the story about Jesus Christ and his work that needs to be taught so that people may base their lives upon it.
• The Bible. In it God has told us about himself and what he wants from us. He did not make a mistake in inspiring it. It gives us everything we need.
• Prayer. It is God's work. So we need to ask him about it.
• A confession. SPC is a Reformed church holding to the Westminster standards.
• Connection. SPC is part of a denomination, the EPCEW, but also wants to stand shoulder to shoulder with other gospel-centred, Bible-based churches.
• Community. We want to be as much about "us and Jesus" as "me and Jesus".
• Gospel reproduction. We want to be a church that plants other churches.
