More than just a library! Somersham Community Library, for the whole community!

In 2002 we were faced with the loss of our library and Friends of Somersham Library (FOSL) was formed to oppose the closure. We were determined to keep our library and if that meant funding it and running it ourselves we would do just that. And so we did, and the County Council and Parish Councils have supported us in our enterprise.
We have created our own volunteer run and managed, Community Information Centre in Somersham and in 2013 we celebrated our 10th Birthday!

What’s available?
A full and free library service – we work in partnership with Cambridgeshire Library Service, which means that if you have a Cambs library membership card, you can use it at our library. If you join at our library (no charge), you will receive a Cambs library membership card which you can use at any Cambs library.

In addition to the books available in Somersham library, as a Cambs library member you also have access to all of the books within the Cambs library service. Books can be reserved free of charge and collected from our library.

We also have Free Internet Access!
