We offer 8 week intensive Mindfulness course consisting of a two hour session each week and an additional full day of practice and teaching. Teachers have been trained at Bangor University & Oxford University.
These specific courses are recognised, well established and taught all over the world. What we teach is scientifically proven to be beneficial to our health, psyche, and overall quality of life.
The cost is £210 (we offer both earlybird discounts on these rates and further reductions for people on lower-incomes, please let us know if this applies to you) which includes a telephone orientation session prior to the course start, 22 hours of contact time, and a workbook and guided practices.
During the sessions we will be exploring a range of different mindfulness practices with time for discussion and group exercises to support our learning. Through these you will learn to deal more skilfully with the challenges of modern day life and daily stress. By paying attention to what happens in our bodies and mind, we can learn to spot our early ‘warning signs,’ giving us an opportunity to find new ways of responding, rather than reacting in automatic, but often unhelpful patterns.
The course is for anyone who would like to improve general wellbeing or reduce stress.
