World Tae Kwon Do Federation including Olympic sparring, self-defense, street survival and pressure points. A family orientated club, fee £3.50 per person
The future for martial arts is parents and their children training together, family orientated clubs work surprisingly well, children tend to try harder when interacting with adults. It’s a family outing with a difference. We practise modern Olympic sparing techniques for the sporting side of Taekwondo and for self-defence we study and practice the ancient pressure point moves of the old masters. All this combined with practical street survival techniques will give you and your family an edge in a fast changing world.
Unlike keep fit classes you are learning a practical skill incorporating body mechanics, leverages and the science of acupressure as applied to martial arts.
I have heard some parents say that they consider themselves too old or unfit to start learning TKD with their children, the trick is to take it steady, build up gradually and not get carried away.
