Lomas Hall is a charitable organisation and is managed by a voluntary committee made up of local people for the local community and others
Lomas Hall is a community facility nestled in the heart of Stannington, situated next door the the beautiful Stannington Christ Church, only 6 miles out of Sheffield.
Opened in 1955 and presented to the village of Stannington in trust by Miss Flora Lomas. Today the hall is run as a charitable organisation and is managed by a voluntary committee made up of local people.
Recently refurbished in 2013, it is a fantastic multifunctional building available for hire; we have two main rooms - the Main Hall with a stage and balcony area which can accommodate up to 300 people seated and adjacent to the Main Hall is the smaller Knowle Room with a capacity of 60 people the two rooms have easy access to each other through folding doors, the Knowle Room can be hired separately or with the Main Hall.
We have a kitchen with commercial facilities, a fully equipped/staffed bar, and an adequate car park making our hall perfect for meetings, wedding receptions, dinners, special celebration parties or community activities.
Lomas Hall has a multitude of uses which make it an ideal venue for any event which you may have in mind. We look forward to welcoming you.
