Stansted Inn is a comfortable, cosy and recently refurbished bed and breakfast nestled in scenic surroundings set back from the main road.Our guest house is situated just 7 miles from Stansted Airport and 3 miles from Bishop's Stortford town centre.

Stansted Inn is a 10 room bed and breakfast facility divided into two buildings.
Our rooms range from Single, Double or Twin Double, some with shared bathrooms and others with en-suites.
We provide fresh towels daily, and there are free refreshments in the room (tea making facilities/ snacks).There is also a flat screen television in every room with freeview channels. Guests on long stays are more than welcome to bring their own DVD players or games consoles to use with the TV provided.
Free Wi-Fi is available 24/7 for all our guests.
We have a lounge and reception area with plenty of reading material which can be borrowed.
There is also a dining area, with a fridge and microwave, and toaster which can be used for meals up until around 11pm. This area is also where breakfast is served (mon-fri 7am-9am, sat-sun 8am-10am).
We serve a continental style breakfast consisting of a choice of cereals, yogurts, fruit, breads, muffins, pancakes, cheeses, spreads, teas, coffees and juices. We also have an egg cooker. We do not serve cooked breakfasts, or dinners. We highly recommend eating at the local pubs- The George, and The Three Horseshoes. Both within walking distance.
Or alternatively we have flyers in reception of the local eateries who can deliver to the Inn. Of course the microwave can be used for heating shop bought meals also.
We do not sell toiletries on the premises, but within housekeeping or check- in hours staff may be able to help. Handwash is provided in all bathrooms.
If requiring transport, we provide local taxi numbers, or staff can book taxi service for you. Buses run every 15-30 min on weekdays. There is no bus service on a Sunday or Bank holidays.
The best route into the city, is a bus or taxi to Bishop Stortford train station, and a 30-40min rail service to the centre of London.
Overall we are considered ideal for tourists travelling to and from Stansted Airport, or families with occasions to attend. We are also perfect for short breaks or business trips.
