Hi my name is Sophie and welcome to Starlite School Of Dance.

The school was founded over 50 years ago as the Marnic School Of Dance and has recently changed its name to the Starlite School Of Dance.

As a former pupil of Marnic since the age of 4 years old, the school is of great importance to me and very close to my heart, which is why I am very dedicated to continue its very high standards of teaching and reputation now as Starlite.

We hold classes three nights a week for Ballet, Tap and Disco/ Freestyle lessons which are held at the Masonic hall, Ridgeway, Plympton, Plymouth.
Our pupils all also enjoy performing at local events such as the May fair and Colebrook Carnival.
We hold exams twice a year for pupils wanting to do so with the National Association Of Teachers Of Dancing (NATD) to progress the pupils through the graded syllabus and awards.

The school aims to provide not only a high standard of teaching but also a lot of fun as we see the school as one big family. I teach the classes with the assistance of my sister Lucy who also has a great love for the school.
