Recording 'Hot Pink Flamingos'

I wrote and recorded everything at my home studio in Liverpool using a Focusrite Saffire PRO 14 firewire interface. This was connected to my PC which runs Cubase 7 64 bit.
All Guitars, Pianos, Basses, Vocals etc were played by me live.
Drum were programmed by me using BFD2 samples.
Synths, strings, brass etc were programmed using Cubase's Halion Symphonic.
For Piano sounds I used Steinberg The Grand 3 SE. Keys and Midi parts all are played on my midi keyboard m-audio oxygen 49.

Acoustic guitars were played by me on a Yamaha APX700.
Electric guitars were a combination of my homemade Warmoth strats with Seymour Duncan 'Everything Axe' pickups or my Gibson Les Paul or ES-335.
Bass Guitar is played a stock 5 string Mexican Fender Jazz bass.

Vocals were recorded with a Rode NT-1A condenser Microphone. I also used a SE Electronics Professional Reflexion Filter to help with the isolation.

I wrote, performed and then edited and mixed the record at home before sending to Marc Joy at Ferndale for Mastering.
