Stillwaters Therapy Centre specialises in the provision of Psychotheraphy, Hypnotherapy, Wellbeing, Counselling, and Holistic and Alternative therapies.

A new Psychological and Complementary Therapy Centre at The Elms, Charmouth focussing on Psychological and Physical Wellbeing. The Centre is run by the founder, Deborah Gildersleeves who is a fully qualified, registered and insured Psychotherapist and Hypnotherapist.

For the past 8 years, Deborah has been working with Military Complex Casualties and has gained specialist knowledge and experience in the field of Post Traumatic Stress and issues around Acquired Disability. This experience has enabled Deborah to help anyone who maybe experiencing post traumatic symptoms and/or acquired disability following an accident or Incident.

Deborah believes in the counselling relationship being very much an equal partnership and as such, the number of sessions will depend upon the issues being experienced. It is essential that someone feels that they have time to build trust and rapport with their therapist and then able to explore where the therapeutic pathway is taking them and when they both feel that the work is complete. Deborah also believes in being as creative as possible as she does not believe that ‘one size fits all’ and so, will tailor the therapeutic approach to fit with the individual.

Deborah can offer 1-2-1 or couple counselling sessions; group workshops and support groups are also being planned for the near future.
