What does St John's PTA do?
Saint John's PTA has a long history of supporting the work of the school.
We organise to make St.John's a better place for our children by providing financial and volunteer support.
How?
•fundraising for resources which make a difference...from dressing-up costumes to interactive whiteboards, from reading books to playground equipment, from reading resources to i pads and much much more.....
•organise events for the children like family bingo, discos, christmas bazaar and summer fun nights with BBQ.
•We take the year 7 children for an end of year lunch, and part fund their St John's hoodies.
•providing valuable practical support at times like Confirmation, First Communion during Christmas services etc.
Why Join?
Without the PTA, many of the fantastic resources and activities listed above would not be possible.
The PTA is a great way to meet new parents and become more familiar with staff and the inner workings of school life.
We rely on our PTA to help support our children and school activities.
We want to provide the very best we can for all children in St John's.
What can I do?
Come along to our next meeting - lend a hand - every little helps!
You do not have to attend all meetings, but call into Mrs Scott if you would like to be involved.
