We aim to help others through their mental ill health as we have all had our own experiences with mental ill health.
Our group all took part and qualified in "Peer Advocacy in Mental Health" and a Development course.
We continued through summer 2015 to support each other by having weekly support sessions together, we then decided that we would all like have this services available to other people who may be suffering from mental ill health. We ourselves all know how hard getting help can be and how hard it can be to talk about mental ill health but we have all really benefited from advocacy, it has massive help to each of us through out our own personal journeys.
We offer a free, walk in, confidential, listening ear service for individuals aged 18 and over who are experiencing mental ill health.
We are currently located in the AYE centre in 31 Patrick Street,Strabane.
We open every Tuesday from 12noon to 4pm.
