Stretford & Urmston Sea Cadets - 0161 282 7600

We are Stretford & Urmston Sea Cadets and part of the UK's largest maritime youth charity for young people aged 10-18 Cadets get involved in water and land-based activities with a nautical theme.

Junior Cadets 10-12 - This is about having fun and making friends. You'll take part in lots of events and activities like sailing, canoeing and abseiling, plus learn about first aid and communications.

Sea Cadets 12-18 - Get to grips with subjects both on water and land as part of basic training, all on a nautical theme. You can take part in courses and competitions ranging from rock climbing and shooting to music, power boating and sailing. These can give you a head start in life and boost your confidence, plus it's good fun.

Stretford & Urmston Sea Cadets parade every Tuesday and Friday 1900 - 2130.

We also do a number of residential weekend courses starting Friday Evening to Sunday Afternoon. These courses can be anything from Specialisations and Proficiencies to Waterborne activities or even competition practice.

We are committed to ensuring that all fans have a safe and enjoyable experience of our Sea Cadet facebook page, so please remeber the basic 'e' rules; don't give out personal information and only accept friend requests from people you know in real life.
