The ACLT (African Caribbean Leukaemia Trust) - 020 3757 7700

The ACLT, formed in 1996, is a voluntary charity whose primary objective is to increase the number of ethnic minorities on the UK stem cell register and blood donation register. In 2010, the ACLT included increasing the number of ethnic minorities on the NHSBT organ donor registers as part of its aims. The charity was founded by Beverley De-Gale and Orin Lewis, parents of former Leukaemia sufferer Daniel De-Gale to provide hope and a healthy future to someone whose disorder may otherwise prove fatal.
