The BARN Animal Rescue is a haven for animals in need. We promote animal welfare within Northern Ireland, we rescue & re-home; we tend and we care. At our rescue based in Carrowdore, County Down; we care for rescued cats and dogs. We have 2 lovely rescued ponies who will remain with us for life, and we also have dogs that have permanent residency and found their forever home here at the BARN.

As we have rescued residents who have experienced past trauma, we ask that you please contact us via PM or phone to book an appointment to view animals available for adoption.

Here at the BARN, the animals come first. We have adopted dogs who live with us, special cases; they cannot be rehomed. This is there home. <3
