Located in the heart of the bustling border market town of Biggar, The Barony offers relaxed dining using ingredients sourced from the local area and around the world. We believe that the Barony is THE place to enjoy a meal out.

Our aim is to create a cosy and comfortable environment, where everyone is greeted with a welcoming smile, and where they can relax and enjoy great service and great food.

The support from the local community since re-opening on the 1st of July under the new name has been brilliant. We are currently offering a BYOB (Bring Your Own Bottle) scheme whilst we await our liquor license, but we will continue to offer this scheme even when our license is in place as it has been incredibly popular.

Easily accessible from Edinburgh en route to the M74, The Barony is situated on the A702. Biggar is also on regularily serviced bus routes from Edinburgh, Peebles and Lanark. There's alot to do in our small and picturesque town so if you're planning on joining us at lunch or for an evening meal make a day of it, and get the best of Biggar.
