Ian and Val would like to welcome you to
The Chesterfield.
We would like to introduce ourselves. Ian and I have lived locally in Bingham for nearly 20 years, and like you, have watched The
Chesterfield change hands on numerous
occasions. Ian has been a publican forever and managed various establishments and catering jobs around the world. He has a passion for real ales and takes pride in looking after his beers. I recently joined him, after leaving my job of 13 years at Toot Hill College to help him manage The Plough at Cropwell Butler….I'm still
learning!

We love The Chesterfield and want it to become the grand, traditional town pub it once was. Offering good value, home cooked and locally sourced food along with a smile.

Simon will be the face behind the bar you will mostly see. He has worked for us for a year now at The Plough, and he will be working alongside Ian to get the pub up and running. I’ll be behind the bar every now and then, just making sure they’re getting it right!

We will be reintroducing waitress service, but only in the restaurant. If you would like to eat in the bar or garden, you can place your orders at the bar.

In the near future we would like to reintroduce the pool table and dart board and will therefore be looking for teams to play from The
Chesterfield. Please let us know if you’re
interested.

Private functions, christenings, birthday
parties and wakes can be catered for, please ask for details from Ian or Simon. We can also
supply outside bars if you’d like the pressure taken off your party arrangements.

We have a great deal of enthusiasm and passion that we would like to invest in the pub, all we ask is for your support .
