The Chestnuts fishing lakes

The Chestnuts private fishing lakes cater for all types of anglers. A mature fishery with three lakes offers something for everyone, whether you are into big Carp (up to 22lb), Tench, Rudd, Roach or Perch.

All cottages feature outside storage facilities ‚ for fishing tackle and there is a bait fridge on site. Tackle is available for hire from the office for beginners.

For the children
A children’s play area, football pitch, badminton and tennis courts, pool and table tennis room, children’s shop and most important lots of free, safe space to let the imagination run wild. In addition, very popular is the supervised feeding and handling of all the farm animals including Emily the goat, the donkeys Amber and Sunny, Matilda the pig, Larry the sheep, the cows and calves and all the other small animals; rabbits, guinea pigs, chickens and ducks.
