The Community Shop, Briton Ferry exists to serve both the local Church in Wales Parish of Llansawel Briton Ferry and also the community of Briton Ferry.
The Community Shop, Villiers Street, Briton Ferry exists to serve both the local Church in Wales Parish of Llansawel Briton Ferry and also the community of Briton Ferry.
The shop provides a local service to the community by reselling items no longer wanted or needed by their owners. We will always accept donations, particularly good quality clothing. We are, however, not able to resell electrical goods.
The monies raised from any sales made goes back into the community as a result of grants awarded once a year by the shop's trustees. Many local groups have benefited from the grants awarded in recent years, from community groups and social groups such as the Guides to individuals living in the locality who require special medical care.
