Set up in August 2013, The Eaton Foundation aims to support and include the most vulnerable members of adult society in and around Burton Upon Trent. We will support men in need when they need it most. We aim to provide a one-stop-shop for those that need integrated support with anything from emotional support and someone to confide in - to free training courses and support to get into volunteering opportunities and employment.

History

Alex Eaton, Founder and Manager of The Eaton Foundation, set this charity up in memory of his father, who died in July 2013 having struggled with addiction, mental health issues and homelessness for many years. It is Alex's belief that what his father really needed, was someone to talk to when things were getting too hard - and the hope that he could work towards success and recovery.

Just like most people that have fallen on hard times, Alex's father did not start out as a vulnerable adult and was a well-known and greatly loved family man, friend and business owner. During our lives, we can experience some very difficult times and it is very common to struggle to cope or experience mental health problems.

The Eaton Foundation will seek to provide confidential and free services to all men in need, living within the areas of Burton Upon Trent, Swadlincote, Uttoxeter, Lichfield and Tamworth.

We provide confidential services for men over the age of 18 years old living in Burton Upon Trent and surrounding areas.

Our free services include:

- emotional support
- online chat appointments with a specialist trained supporter
- advocacy and advice
- signposting and integrated support
- free training courses and volunteering opportunities

We can support you if you/family member are dealing with homelessness, addiction/dependency, mental health issues, learning disabilities, unemployment, poverty, separation and offending behaviours. charity number- 1156136
