The Bridge Centre is a community facility that offers a generic programme of activities to the people of Haddington and the surrounding area.
The Bridge Centre was established as a community facility in 1968. Based in restored mill-workers’ cottages owned by the Lamp of Lothian Collegiate Trust, the Centre offers a generic programme of activities to the people of Haddington and the surrounding area.
The Bridge Centre is managed by a Board of Directors & staffed by East Lothian Council employees. It is also led by a Supporters Group made up of local people and representatives of user groups and community organisations. The Centre was accepted as a charity by the Inland Revenue on 13th February 1992.
The Centre is a meeting place for all age groups with a variety of interests. There are currently 38 community groups that make regular use of the Centre.
