Brand New Community cafe, based at the Ex Serviceman's Social Club, Willow Way, Hurstpierpoint. Open wed mornings.

The Melting Pot cafe launched in September 2014 as a new community cafe. The project is being run by local churches in Hurstpierpoint in conjunction with the Ex- Serviceman's & Social Club and local residents.

We have worked with the club and local organisations to oversee the redecoration of parts of the club (we hope to see more work done in the coming months) which has been done in conjunction with the local Community Payback Scheme and with help from Bell Group, with paint donated by Johnstone's paint.

Initially the cafe will be open on Wednesday mornings but we hope to expand this as time goes on. We'd love to hear from people who are keen to help out by volunteering in the cafe once a month or by making cakes!

Everyone is welcome so please do come and see us! We hope the cafe will be a a place people of all generations can come and relax, chat, make new friends and just hang out.
