The Penicuckoo is Penicuik's sole news website dedicated to the going-ons in Midlothian's papermaking town.

Operated by volunteers, the Penicuckoo is a truly local news website which aims to inform residents of important news, however along the way we hope to excite you with event information, sport updates and handy weather alerts and forecasts.

We'll update this page when we have posted an article on our website. There are also handy infographics and short news snippets which aren't substantial enough for our website.
