The Poplars Sports Ground is committed to providing a first class sporting facility for all local sports clubs and residents in and around Burton Joyce

The Poplars Sports Ground is home to Burton Joyce FC, Burton Joyce Cricket Club, Burton Joyce Archers and Burton Joyce Bowls Club.

The Sports Ground comprises a state-of-the art 3G all weather facility, numerous full size grass football pitches, a full-size cricket square, bowling green and a (soon to be completed) petanque piste. There are open-air facilities for keep-fit and other sports as well as a fully licenced pavilion and function room.
